Quick Access and Routine Appointments
Quick Access & Routine Appointments
Many problems can be solved following either online or telephone triage so avoiding the need to come to the surgery. For any urgent queries, please always telephone the surgery on 020 7435 7282. If you wish to have an on-line consultation please follow the link on the home page. This may be useful to you especially if you anticipate difficulty being available to receive a telephone call. We aim to respond to on-line queries within 2 working days. Please be available to take a telephone call if this has been requested.
If after the online consultation or telephone call a Quick Access face to face consultation (10 minutes) is required, we will arrange this for you usually within 1 working day if the problem is urgent and reception will offer you a time.
If after telephone or an on-line consultation your doctor considers the problem is less urgent or you need to see a specific doctor for a longer routine face to face consultation, you will be contacted with advice.
Quick Access (10-minute appointments)
This clinic runs every weekday morning (09.00-12.30) to solve medical issues which are urgent or cannot wait for a routine appointment. The appointments are shorter so only one issue can be dealt with in this time, and you cannot usually specify which doctor you see. To access this clinic, online consultations and telephone calls are triaged, and you can be booked into a telephone/face-to-face appointment as required. We do allow walk in appointments if the problem is urgent, but to reduce waiting times and possible risk of infection to others we kindly request that you use the telephone or online system first.
Routine Appointments (15-minute appointments)
These appointments are telephone or face-to-face consultations available in the morning and afternoon. They can be made up to a month in advance either using the NHS App or by calling reception on 020 7435 7282. These appointments are useful to have continuity with a particular doctor, have a more specific appointment time, or for more complex problems. Please consider using an online consultation first in case simple advice can be given or investigations need to be ordered before you are seen to make best use of time.
